Dr. Kulkarni has pioneered the Slum Health Projects of the organization through GuruvaryaLahuji Salve Slum Health Center.Active in Slum and Rural Development work since 1989 and has opted to reside in the slum itself to facilitate the work. He has a pivotal role in designing and implementing many projects for slums students, women and other marginal communities through SPMESM. Associated with many social organizations in the region. He has been honoured with many awards for his dedicated service.
An Electrical Engineer by education, Mr Shirish Kulkarni is the MD of SS Control Systems, Aurangabad and a leading name in manufacturer of Electrical control Panels. He is an active member of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) Marathawada Chapter and has represented Aurangabad industries on many platforms. He was the first from the region to start a manufacturing unit in Tanzania. His passion for social development projects is palpable. He played the major role in construction of OmkarBalwadi and Vihanga Special Education Center- two very innovative education centers.
An Agronomist and Environmentalist by education. After completion of his Graduation in Agriculture, Suhas dedicated 8 years of his life for the development of Tribal Agriculture in Dang and Nandurbar Districts of Gujarat and Maharashtra. After joining SPMESM, he has headed many important projects for the small and marginal farmers like Livelihood Security Project by UNDP, Umbrella Project in NRM (a loaning project for micro irrigation), Barefoot veterinary doctors project for 80 villages, the systemic Watershed Development Projects- Jal Abhiyan, etc.
Madhuri holds a post graduate degree in Psychology and has been working in the field of Mental Health since 6 years. Her research papers in Mental Health and Coping Methods have been published in 3 international conferences across the globe. She has also a keen interest in Tribal Development and contributes to SPMESM’s initiatives in Nandurbar and other tribal areas.
An Ayush Graduate (BAMS) by education, Dr.Waikar currently heads the SantGadgebaba Slum Health Project in a major slum of Aurangabad. He has a good experience of Community Health and health Education Projects for the slums. He also is the Director- QA for SPMESM and is the chief authority for QMS at SPMESM.
After completion of his Graduation in Ayurveda he joined the organizationand spearheaded the Rural Health Movement in Aurangabad District for many years. He was the Project Director for the organization’s HIV- AIDS Prevention Projects before he took over as the Director for Mobile Clinic Unit. He is working as the Treasurer of SPMESM since 6 years.
Mr Vidwans is MBA (Finance) by education and a SEBI Authorized Financial Consultant at Mumbai. Besides his successful career in Finance, Mr Vidwans is a popular Columnist on Financial Affairs in many leading Marathi newspapers. His role as an expert Trainer in finance is well appreciated by many. He is actively involved in many educational and financial institutes, art and culture organization- SanskarBharati and Citizen’s Movement in Mumbai.
A graduate in Commerce, Ms Goyal lives in Jalna. She has been activel involved in many developmental projects, especially for the girls in slums and students from poor families in her town. Also is associated with the prime educational institutes in Jalna.
Ms Shitole holds a Master’s Degree in Education. An entrepreneur by profession; she has a keen interest in Water Conservation Initiatives. She has worked on restoration of Old Defunct Water Structures in and around Aurangabad. She is a prominent social personality and leads many education and financial initiatives. Also works for Women’s Rights in the city.
Dr. Khobragade holds a Doctorate in Environmental Science and is Vice Principal of Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society’s College of Science, Aurangabad. Her research on water and other environmental topics is well appreciated on various platforms. She is also a member of many national bodies in the field of science and the environment. Ms. Khobragade has been an active contributor to many social topics.
Mr. Khade holds a doctorate in geography and is a professor at Rashtramata Indira Gandhi College, Jalna. He has been an active cadet and leader of the NCC across colleges and has implemented many social initiatives with the NCC Cadets. Besides the academic activities, Dr. Khade’s deep interest in social justice made him involved in the Samajik Samarasata Manch movement, which works for fraternity and equality.
Mr. Bharadkar holds degrees in engineering and arts, along with a Master’s degree in management. He started his career as a technical officer in the Indian Air Force and later worked at Wipro in many senior positions. His key contributions were important to many educational initiatives by the Ajim Premji Foundation.

After completing her degree in Ayurveda, Dr. Pratibha joined the organization in 1993. She is the founder and secretary of SPMESM. With Master’s Degrees in Public Health and Rural Development, Dr.Pratibha is a well-known figure in rural health in the region. She has vast experience strategizing and implementing many rural health projects, including the current Sanjeevani project in 60 villages by SPMESM.She is also associated with many tribal development projects in North Maharashtra.
MSW by Education.Opted to stay in the slum with family to spearhead Women and Adolescent Girls Projects since 1995.Leads the Skill Development Department at SPMESM. With her initiatives, over 100 expert professionals in many trades have formed a solid network of mentors and volunteers to support the Skill Programs at SPMESM.
MSW in Education, Mrs. Kulkarni, started working for slum women in 1992. She opted to live in the slum with her family and has implemented many vital projects in women empowerment and financial inclusion for the slum women. A large network of slum women and peer workers is the outcome of her work.
MBBS by education but an educator by choice, Dr. Madhushree has dedicated years to improving the child education scenario in Maharashtra. She has designed and developed many innovative pre-primary education methods and has been traveling across the country to populate them. She is currently the Country Head for the Girls Education Wing of Vidya Bharati, a national organization serving in the education field.

After completion of his Degree education in Ayurved, Dr. Daphale joined Dr. Hedgewar Hospital as a Medical Officer. After working in many clinical departments in the hospital, Dr. Daphale started working as In charge of SantRohidas Slum Health Project in 2008. He has lead the Preventive Health and Health Education work of the organization in many slums with significant results.He currently heads the HR department at SPMESM.
After completing his graduation in Ayurveda, Dr. Prasanna Patil dedicated 15 years of his life to slum health and developmental projects in the slums. He opted to stay in the slum with his family to facilitate different initiatives for the slum dwellers. He is the founder and trustee of SPMESM. Since 2008, he has had the responsibility of fund raising and public relations at SPMESM. He has been associated with many organizations in the role of consultant in project management, CSR, and organizational development.
