A progressive farmer himself, Mr Mangate has led many important initiatives for small and marginal farmers. He has been an advisor to many FPCs and helping the farmers to establish and successfully run various agro businesses. His speciality is in taking the various government schemes to the poor farmers. Currently he is on the board of the ‘The Maize and Millets Council’ as an Expert Director.
