It is at this time that Savitribai Phule Mahila Ekatma Samaj Mandal started introducing short term skill development courses for free or at a token cost, to enable men and women earn a better livelihood. These courses spread across Catering, Fashion Designing, Electrician and Beautician are tailor-made courses for the market needs and providing effective solutions to stomp away unemployment. Today there are multiple success stories of people being placed in companies, starting small units and earning a good livelihood leading to a secure future.

IT Training Centre for youth from less-privileged section of the society. Established in 2001, this advanced Training Center is providing a much needed window to the information and technology sector. 400 student beneficiaries every year.

SPMESM observed that many of the young women form slums have got some basic tailoring skills they needed to explore more for converting it into a sustainable livelihood option. SPMESM started Basic as well as Advanced Tailoring Training (Fashion Designing and Garment Making) for slum women in 2009. It currently operates on Two Locations (Milindnagar and Mukundwadi)
